Six to Twelve Months

• Announce engagement
• Consult with clergy or officant
• Select date, time, budget
• Reserve location for ceremony & reception
• Develop guest list
• Select and invite attendants
• Select brides attire, attendants attire and men's
  formal wear
• Seek & select: musicians and/or DJ, florist, photographer, Videographer, Limousine, wedding cake and rings
• Begin honeymoon plans

Four to Six Months

• Order invitations, thank you's and other wedding amenities
• Arrange lodging at hotel for visiting guests
• Register at your selected bridal registry locations
• Check on marriage license requirements
• Finalize honeymoon plans
• Finalize menu selections
• Determine favors for guests and order

Two to Four Months

• Appointment with hairdresser to experiment
• Formal photograph taken for newspaper announcemnt
• Address invitations
• Purchase gifts for attendants
• Arrange rehearsal time and dinner
• Apply for marriage license

One to Two Months

• Confirm all contracted services
• Mail wedding invitations
• Record, write and mail thank you's for gifts
• Final fittings for wedding attendants and Bride/Groom

Two Weeks

• Begin packing for honeymoon
• Pick up marriage license and wedding rings
• Telephone guests who haven't responded
• Final guest count for reception & seating arrangement if applicable
• Prepare shot list for photographer
• Put together a wedding day schedule of events and distribute to all involved

One Week

• Pick up formal wear and dresses; check for fit
• Prepare gratuities in sealed envelopes
• Complete packing for honeymoon
